“Standing out on crossroads that you cannot comprehend”

Posted on

It never hurt me so
Than to watch you go.
But I haven’t seen you go yet
As we remain met

In the middle of a phrase that has no end
In search of a grammar
To hold, fend, defend, my chances stammer;
No heart to lend.

Haven’t seen you go yet
But I see you go
Where, once spent, fond memories
Flirt; whore; where they go.

And that is the pain of it —
Chocolate need be not bitter.
Only stupid cricketers ought to ground
A regular sitter.

Not the end. Not the end.
Just remember that death is not the end.
